Dr Chantal Kong is strongly committed to providing a high quality clinical service to her patients and GP colleagues whilst maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
She is an experienced clinician with a strong broad-based training in all aspects of general medical conditions, subspecialising in diabetes and endocrinology. After qualifying at the University of Leeds, she undertook her junior medical rotation in the Midlands before moving to London, and spent a large part of her senior training at St Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College as part of the North Thames specialty rotation. She was subsequently appointed as Consultant Physician/Endocrinologist at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS trust in February 2003.
Her specialty practice covers all aspects of general endocrinology including the diagnostic work-up, investigation and management of thyroid, parathyroid, pituitary and adrenal disorders, polycystic ovarian syndrome, various metabolic disturbances including diabetes, dyslipidaemia and electrolyte imbalances.
