Tinnitus is a sound that a person can hear either in their ears or in their head which does not have an external source. In the UK, around 10% of the population have tinnitus all the time and 1% has it so badly that it can affect their quality of life.
Clinical audiologist Mrs Fiona Bateson will be discussing the types, causes, diagnosis and treatment of tinnitus on Thursday 7 May 2015 at Spire Harpenden Hospital.
Refreshments will be available from 7:15pm.
The presentation will begin at 7:30pm followed by time for questions and answers.
