All members of the public and our staff are invited to join us on Friday 24th October for our Breast Cancer Care Awareness and Fundraising Day.
From 10.30am to 3.00pm we will be in the patient restaurant area, where you can buy delicious tea and cakes, enter a raffle with fabulous prizes - tickets can be bought on the day and the prizes will be drawn after 4pm. You can also guess the name of the bear and the number of sweets in the jar.
All proceeds from the fundraising will go to Breast Cancer Care, who provide information and support for anyone affected by breast cancer.
We will also be giving out information about breast care on the day, including how to check your breasts.
From Monday 13th October for two weeks, we will also have a "dump your bra" bin in the hospital. If you have old or ill-fitting bras, donate them to the dump your bra campaign. They will be sent to Africa, where there is a short supply of affordable bras.
