Hydrotherapy is suitable to treat a number of conditions such as; the early rehabilitation following lower limb fractures or injuries, back pain, joint arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and is of particular benefit following joint and spinal surgery. Hydrotherapy treatment offered by Spire Gatwick Park Hospital takes place at the Brambles Respite Care Centre which is based locally in Horley.
Hip and Knee Joint Replacement Classes
Hip and knee exercise classes are run at Spire Gatwick Park Hospital by the inpatient physiotherapy team as part of the post-operative rehabilitation programme, which follows joint replacement surgery. The classes provide the opportunity to meet other joint replacement patients to share experiences and motivation!
Spinal Stability Class
The spinal stability class provides people with back pain the opportunity to confidently get back to exercising and leading a fulfilled life under the close supervision of a qualified physiotherapist.
