Mr A John Campbell qualified at Westminster Medical School, London University. He then did an anatomy lecturership at St Bartholomew’s Hospital London during his basic surgical training. He then gained fellowships of the Royal College of Surgeons in England and Edinburgh. He received his specialist training in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery at Kings College Hospital and the St George’s Hospital Orthopaedic Rotation in London.
Mr Campbell was awarded a fellowship in Knee Sports Injuries at Toronto University, Canada when he gained considerable expertise in the arthroscopic treatment of knee problems. He was then appointed as a Trauma and Orthopaedic Specialist at the Surrey & Sussex Healthcare Trust with a special interest in knee surgery. He established the knee surgery service; dealing with acute and chronic knee problems at the trust.
Mr A John Campbell’s clinical practice involves all aspects of knee surgery. He has performed over 12,000 knee replacements. He carries out the latest total and partial replacement techniques. He has an extensive experience in arthroscopic knee surgery involving anterior cruciate ligament reconstructions, meniscal repairs and articular cartilage regeneration techniques.
Mr Campbell is also involved in medico-legal work for personal injury and medical negligence claims.
