Mr Ehab Kelada is an NHS Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals and is a Consultant at the Spire Portsmouth Hospital and Spire Gatwick Park Hospital.  His main interest is in Reproductive Medicine and Assisted Reproduction where he has extensive experience having worked previously as a Consultant at CARE Fertility Clinic in Nottingham and as Clinical Director of the London Fertility Centre.  Mr Kelada also sees and treats private patients at the Spire Hospital In Portsmouth and Spire Gatwick Park Hospital where he carries out gynaecologcal surgical procedures such as hysteroscopy and laparoscopy. He worked with the team at CARE who establised a treatment program for women with recurrent implantation failure and recurrent miscarriage who have high levels of natural killer cells and intracellular cytokine activity. He was also one of the pioneer team at CARE who was responsible for the world's first live birth following array CGH (Comparative Genomic Hybridisation) which is a technique to screen eggs for chromsomal abnomalities.  He is interested in all aspects of fertility care but has particular interest in all aspects of fertility care but has a particular interest in reproductive immunology and the treatment of recurrent implantation failure and reccurent miscarriage as well as managing patients with low ovarian reserve. Mr Kelada also provides surgical sperm retrieval to men who have no sperm in the ejaculate. He has many publications in national and international journals.
