Professional profile:
Dr Youssef received his Master Degree in 1990 after he started his career in gynaecology and obstetrics in 1987. He received his initial training in Egypt and after getting the flavour of the British experience for four years in the nineties he specialised in infertility in 1997. He worked in IVF units for over 7 years in different countries gaining experience in all aspects of assisted reproduction. He perfected his pelvic ultrasound scanning skills through courses and during research programmes. He was granted the Warwick University Assisted Reproduction Technology Post Graduate Award in June 2006. He led Crawley fertility unit since July 2006 which provided the main secondary and tertiary fertility service to West and Mid Sussex. He and his team shared in improving the results and gaining the love and the trust of all couples they worked for.
