Undergoing gastric band surgery is a life changing experience, which is why at Spire Gatwick Park Hospital we are pleased to offer a gastric band patient support group. A friendly and supportive environment, the group provides gastric band patients an opportunity to speak with our weight loss support team and share the experience of living with a gastric band with fellow patients.
Our support group is attended by anyone who has undergone a gastric band procedure. The group acts as a forum for all to share their experiences, stay motivated and celebrate success.
Meetings are free of charge and offer a supportive environment. You are welcome to bring along a friend or family member for additional support. Patients can share their experiences of living with a gastric band; speak with our Bariatric Nurse Specialist and Dietician about any issues or concerns that may arise.
The gastric band support group will be held at Spire Gatwick Hospital on the first Wednesday of every other month from 19.30.
