I am a Consultant Gynaecological Surgeon with wide experience in general gynaecology, menstrual disorders and surgery, pelvic floor surgery and surgery for stress urinary incontinence and reproductive medicine.

I graduated from the Royal College of surgeons in Dublin (1988), trained and was accredited as a General Practitioner (MRCGP) in 1993.

I trained in obstetrics and gynaecology in Belfast and North West England, obtaining my MRCOG in 1996. I went on to be appointed as Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in 2002 and was granted my fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2010.

Previous Clinical Director of women's health at the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust 2005 - 2010. Previous Gynaecology Governance Lead at the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
