Mr Linn qualified from University of Dundee in 1996. He did his internship in Dundee. Mr Linn’s basic surgical training was based at in the Manchester and Lancaster area for three years . He successfully completed higher surgical training, and his MSc thesis (research) was on Colorectal Cancer Cells Adhesions.
Following the completion of his higher surgical training, Mr Linn undertook an extra year specialising in Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery (fellowship) at the Basingstoke and Frimley Park hospitals (National Training Centre for Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery) prior to his consultant appointment in Blackpool.
Mr Linn is happily married to Ei Ei who is also a doctor with interest in blood disorders. His daugher Thiri is five years old and attends reception class.
He is a Buddhist and if time permits, his hobbies include playing music (keyborard) and photography.
