His orthopeadic postgraduate training was undertaken in Madrid (Spain). Took up a consultants post in San Sebastian and practised there from 1992 to 2002. Mr Guisasola moved to Blackpool in 2002 and is a consultant in orthopaedic surgery with a special interest in shoulder surgery at Blackpool Fylde and Wyre Hospitals Foundation Trust.
