Professional profile:

Mr Kumar is a consultant in upper limb surgery at the University hospitals Morecambe bay NHS foundation trust with special interest in shoulder and elbow  surgery. Mr Kumar completed his higher specialist training in the Mersey Deanery Orthopaedic training scheme. Upon obtaining the FRCS (Trauma & Orth) he worked in the upper limb unit at Wrightington Hospital and subsequently did a post CCT Fellowship in shoulder & elbow surgery at the prestigious shoulder and elbow unit at Northern General Hospital Sheffield, giving him excellent exposure to a variety of shoulder and elbow conditions including primary and revision in a tertiary referral centre. He has also passed the Fellowship examination of the European board of Orthopaedics & Traumatology (FEBOT).
