    My interests are adult cardiac and thoracic surgery. I worked in cardiac surgery at St Georges, Harefield, Middlesex, Brompton and Papworth hospitals. I have written two books on cardiac surgery and I am currently a specialty editor for a journal.

    Recently married, our interests include walking our dogs, travel and scuba diving. In addition I am heavily involved in the development of the new cardiac wing at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
