Spire Fylde Coast Hospital provides rapid access to diagnostic imaging for all private and insured patients. This may be an MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scan , a CT (Computerised Tomography) scan , X-ray or ultrasound.

Self funding and insured patients
At Spire Fylde Coast Hospital you can be treated even if you don't have private medical insurance. With a fixed price agreed in advance you can pay for one-off private treatment when you need it.
To book an appointment, patients generally need a referral from either their GP or specialist, however this is not the case with all scans - see our list below.

How to access services
For those scans where a self-referral is not permitted, we require a signed referral usually from your GP/consultant. This can be posted or faxed to the imaging department on 01253 395453, who will then contact you directly to arrange a mutually convenient time for you to attend.
