Mr Andrew Williams is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon working in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Bradford Hospitals NHS Trust.Mr Williams was educated at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School in Wakefield and graduated from the University of Cambridge in 1999. He worked in Cambridge during his pre-registration year before returning to his birthplace where he continued his surgical training in the Yorkshire Deanery.He has completed recognised Training Interface Group Fellowships in Oncoplastic Breast Reconstruction and Aesthetic Surgery and is the first plastic surgeon to be undertaking the Master of Surgery degree in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery. He gained his Certificate of Completion of Training and was entered onto the General Medical Council’s Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery.Mr Williams’s interests lie in breast reconstruction for congenital or acquired defects and the treatment of skin cancer. He is actively involved in the training of tomorrow’s plastic surgeons and continues to keep up to date with modern and evolving techniques and is happy to receive referrals at Spire Elland Hosptial.
Outside of work Mr Williams enjoys spending time with his family undertaking outdoor pursuits. He particularly enjoys playing golf, when time allows and is an avid rugby spectator.
