Professional profile:

Mr Ivan Foo qualified in medicine at the University of London and holds the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh. He also has a Specialist Fellowship in Plastic Surgery and is on the GMC Specialist register.

He is a member of BAAPS (British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons).

He was appointed Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and Calderdale NHS Foundation Trust in 1993 and specialises in breast reconstruction in the NHS.  He has also been in private practice at Spire Elland Hospital in cosmetic surgery since then. 

His has special interests in cosmetic surgery of  the breast (augmentation, breast reduction and uplift), facial surgery such as eyelid reduction, facelifts, rhinoplasty and ear reduction (often referred to as ‘bat ears’), abdominal reshaping (often referred to as a ‘tummy tuck’) and liposuction.

He also specialises in corrective surgery for patients who have lost weight either through dieting or following bariatric surgery, to reduce excess skin.

In the Springfield Suite, at Spire Elland Hospital, which is our purpose built out patient clinic, non-surgical procedures such as fillers and anti wrinkle injections (Botox ™) are performed, and injections to reduce sweating, especially in the underarm areas.  

Mr Ivan Foo holds consultations on Monday mornings, Wednesday afternoons and evenings in the Springfield Cosmetic Suite.  He is happy to see patients on a ‘self referral’ basis but would request that he writes to your GP if a procedure is planned.
