Professional profile:
I qualified at Birmingham University. I then became a Senior House Officer, in medicine, at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. Subsequently I specialised in Diabetes and Endocrinology training at University Hospitals North Staffordshire NHS Trust, University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (Selly Oak and Queen Elizabeth) and University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire.

My research interests include evaluation of macrovascular disease in diabetics, and evaluation of hypothalamo-pituitary adrenal axis dysfunction, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, thyroid disorders and vitamin D deficiency.

Personal profile:
My hobbies and interests include keeping fit, meditation, spirituality and photography.
