Dr Heywood-Everett is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist specialising in eating disorders. Her NHS work is split between managing eating disorders, forensic and personality disorder psychological therapy services and being the lead consultant Clinical Psychologist for the Yorkshire Centre for Eating Disorders.
She qualified in 1992 and has extensive experiences working with the following: anxiety depression, childhood sexual and emotional abuse, race and cultural issues, OCD and complex personality issues (including PD). Dr Heywood-Everett can provide detailed assessments, psychological formulation treatments and consultations on the above. She is research active and therefore is aware of recent innovations and treatments in this area.
