Professional profile:
I have been a consultant radiologist with a special interest in cross sectional imaging in Halifax since 1989. I have considerable experience in Computerised Tomography scanning and Magnetic Resonance scanning. With regard to the latter I have had at least ten thousand cases of MR reporting experience. My knowledge of MR includes all the major systems including musculo-skeletal, neurology (brain and spine) abdomen and pelvis (including cancer staging), magnetic resonance angiography and applications within the neck and mediasteinum.In addition to the specialist interests described above I provide a general radiology service to the BUPA Hospital Elland alongside my colleagues which includes general abdominal ultrasound/pelvic ultrasound and carotid dopler studies.In the near future I will be able to support the BUPA Hospital Elland with advanced MR imaging techniques and the benefits of a spiral multi-slice CT scanner.In the last ten years I have developed a close working relationship with the clinicians in Halifax providing an important interface between clinical practice and diagnostic imaging techniques.
Personal profile:
I live locally within two miles of the BUPA Hospital Elland. Life at present is occupied with the family activities. I have two children aged twelve and fifteen. I am a keen ornithologist but alas have little time to persue this activity.
