My name is Ewan Patrizio, I am currently 17 years old, and rugby has been my absolute passion since starting high school. I was referred to Peter Driscoll by my FASICS physiotherapist. I had been suffering from groin pain for a significant period of time and no amount of rest or physiotherapy made a difference. It was a relief to be seen by someone who was immediately able to pin point the problem. Peter talked through alternatives before finally recommending the Lloyds release procedure, he spent time with me and my family explaining this procedure in great detail so that were able to make an informed decision. He was even able to fit it in around study and exams which was important. Under the instruction of Peter I started off in week one with light stretches gradually building up to various strengthening exercises. I will confess that during week one I was pretty sore, however since then I have been delighted that I am now pain free, and I really feel confident about being able to get back to full fitness. It was a tough decision to go through a procedure this young; however the alternative of constantly being in pain, and most importantly not being able to meet my full rugby playing potential was a great driver to take this leap of faith. I would certainly recommend that if you are in the same situation that you talk to Peter Driscoll, he just inspires confidence and explains things so well; it is great to work with someone who is passionate about making a difference to resolve this particular sporting injury.
