Born in Zimbabwe, Dr Yuille trained at St. Bartholomew's Medical School in London. Having graduated in 1987, Dr YuilleI has worked in numerous hospitals in the south of England. Having completed membership of the Royal College of Physicians, Dr Yuille moved to Scotland to train in oncology at the Edinburgh Cancer Centre.
Further oncology training was gained at the Northern Centre for Cancer Treatment in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Dr Yuille was a lecturer in Glasgow at the Beatson Oncology Centre. Her first consultant post was in Glasgow specialising in breast cancer. Since 2001 she has been a Consultant in the Edinburgh Cancer Centre, specialising in chemotherapy and radiotherapy for breast cancer patients, radiotherapy for lymphoma patients and delivering the radiotherapy for children who have paediatric cancer, in the east of Scotland. Her main NHS breast cancer practice is at St John's Hospital, Livingston, although she also contributes to the Edinburgh Breast Unit.
