Dian Ward Real Life event

Spire Edinburgh Hospitals was out in force to support Dian Ward Salons in their efforts to raise over £28,000 for good causes. The Real Life event took place on Saturday 8th September 2012.

Spire Edinburgh Hospitals was the main sponsor of Saturday night's ‘Real Life’ event, which took place at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange. The event raised in excess of £28,000 for good causes. Monies raised will go towards Maggie's Cancer Care and Simpson's Memorial Box Appeal (SiMBA) - a charity that supports families in honouring babies who have died, been stillborn or miscarried.

Over 450 guests joined a host of celebrity presenters, including singer Michelle McManus, Radio Forth's Grant Stott and X Factor contestant Jade Richards, for an evening of entertainment and dining.

The undisputed stars of the show, however, were nine Spire Murrayfield Hospital oncology patients, who took to the fashion catwalk accompanied by SRU rugby players to participate in an exclusive fashion show.

A huge congratulations to all involved and thanks to our patients and rugby stars.
