Examples of feedback:

Mairi Menzies, Callander Physiotherapy, June 2015:

"I just wanted to update you on one of your patients, you did a right THJR in Feb 2014 and they are delighted.  The patient has their life back, is mainly pain free with very little back pain.  They went skiing – carefully, in Feb this year and organised their daughter’s wedding recently.  They asked me to please pass on their thanks.

"I am trying to reign them in a bit an keep an eye on them in my Pilates rehab class.  It’s such a pleasure to see the results in their life and I am so glad you were able to help them."

Ibrahim Okhai had a hip operation with Mr Gaston in 2014:

He said: “Although it is too early to comment, I would like to thank Mr Paul Gaston for my hip operation. Not that I have had several operations, but I feel that Mr Gaston has done a fantastic operation. I had read about hip replacements a lot on Google and seen live operations on YouTube, so I was a little concerned. I am pleased to say that I needlessly wasted my time reading and being concerned. Paul made it easy. I am grateful to him and I would recommend him to anyone. Please do thank Paul for everything. I am very grateful.”

Annie had a hip replacement in 2013:

Annie commented that a lot of her anxieties were reduced by her Mr Gaston's down to earth but kind, professional approach both times she came for her initial assessments at Spire Murrayfield Hospital (she has had both hips replaced within 18 months). Annie said: "As an environmental consultant, feedback on projects after they are finished can be quite random so I thought you might like to have some feedback! My second hip is super and that fact that I was walking in the Easter Pyrenees barely four months after the op shows it works well. We walked each day and sometimes quite high and I was stopped more by a fear of heights than my hips.

"Since then I have walked in the hills here, done fieldwork on bogs in Shetland where there are no paths, climbed gates etc etc and I can garden if I kneel and bop with care! The relief of being pain free and being able to sleep is immense. I thought you might like to know as well as any potential patient visiting you in fear.

"Thank you for your skill, your kindness and your fine work. I look forward to seeing you at my check in May."
