Surgical Removal of Moles, Warts, Skin Tags and Cysts
Spire GP Plus provides a service for minor surgical cases such as the removal of skin tags, moles, warts, cysts or lipomas and keratoses.
All of our minor surgical cases are carried out at Spire Dunedin Hospital, an accredited clinic hospital, with a well equipped minor procedures room that is staffed by professional and experienced staffed.
Our doctors have had additional surgical training and are experienced in most forms of minor surgery. They also have access to refer you to other consultants such as a Plastic Surgeon or a Dermatologist, if they feel they are more suitable to your individual case.
All of our minor surgical cases are quick and straight-forward procedures and carried out under a local anaesthetic.
During your consultation your doctor will ask you questions about the history of the lesion as well your general health, past medical history and any medication that you are taking.
