Dr Chow is a Cardiac specialist in heart rhythm disorders as well as heart failure and complex cardiac devices. In the past he is trained and accredited in General Medicine, General Cardiology and coronary intervention.

He graduated from the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine, London and has done most of his specialist training at St. Mary's Hospital in London.

He has achieved the Young investigator final awards for research at the European Cardiac Society and international competitions in the USA.

He has specialised in the full spectrum of arrhythmia management and complex device therapy, and has developed the specialist electrophysiology service in Berkshire.

Dr Chow is also a leading consultant in the Department of Cardiac Electrophysiology at University College Hospitals London, running one of the busiest clinical cardiac rhythm management and research departments in the UK.

He is engaged in active research programmes in arrhythmia and device treatment and has published books on these subjects.

He holds a number of British heart foundation and substantial industry funded research grants for research.

He is a fellow of the Royal College of physicians and is the joint clinical lead for Arrhythmia and Sudden Cardiac Death Subgroup in The Thames Valley.
