Andrew has been an NHS GP for 26 years and developed an interest in allergy 10 years ago after having difficulty finding local specialist care for a patient.

After completeing allergy training at Southampton University he now provides weekly support in the Allergy Clinic at Amersham Hospital, Bucks. His combined allergy knowledge and experience as a GP enable him to provide a holistic approach to the treatment of his patients.

At Spire Dunedin Allergy Clinic, most appointments last 40 minutes and often include skin testing. The results of the tests are availab within 10 minutes meaning that patients can leave with a clear idea of their diagnosis and a mangement plan. All patients have a letter sent to their own GP with the results of the assessment.

Andrew is married with three teenage children. All of his family suffer from minor common allergies enabling him to have an understanding of what his patients are going through.

His main hobby is cycling. In the spring and summer months, Andrew leads a group of patients from his GP practice on evening cycle rides.
