Professional Profile:
Natascha completed her BSc(Honours) in Physiotherapy at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2000. Following that she worked for a year in South Africa at a general physiotherapy practice as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist as well as providing in-patient care to patients at two private hospitals. In March 2002, Natascha left South Africa and spent about 18 months living in Austria, during which she spent some time travelling to and from the UK doing locum work in London and Liverpool. In July 2003, she relocated to the UK where she started working at Dunedin Hospital as a Senior Physiotherapist in the August of that year. Natascha has now been at Dunedin for 8 years, during which she has become an accredited McKenzie Therapist, a specialist in the treatment of TMJ dysfunction and orofacial pain, and is in the process of finalising her MSc in Manual Therapy.
