Fiona qualified with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Nottingham University. From there she moved to work in the teaching hospitals in Birmingham and has then slowly worked her way to the South.
Fiona has always concentrated on outpatient physiotherapy and in the past she has worked for the National League hockey and rugby teams and she even spent a short spell at Notts County Cricket Club.
Fiona is now a senior physiotherapist in outpatients at Spire Clare Park Hospital, and works as an Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Practitioner, taking a special interest in knees, alongside Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Mr Jonathan Hull. In this role, Fiona reviews post operative arthroscopies, ACL Reconstructions, as well as post operative Total Knee and Total Hip Replacements. Upon review of the patients x-rays, Fiona is able to give physiotherapy and post-surgical advice tailored to the patients needs. These clinics were set up with the aim of offering the success of the NHS ESP service to private patients and they have been very well received by patients.
