Cardiology unit opens at Spire Clare Park Hospital in Farnham

A much needed addition to the breadth of Spire Clare Park Hospital’s services was unveiled at a ceremony on Tuesday 11th January 2011.

Previously there was no dedicated local private cardiology facility that served the Fleet and Farnham area. Now there is - Clare Park Cardiology is a non-invasive diagnostic cardiac unit within the hospital that offers investigation, diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disorders that affect the heart.

Working in partnership with four highly regarded cardiologists, Clare Park Cardiology offers a rapid access clinic, ensuring that patients have all the appropriate assessments and can be seen in the quickest possible time, usually the next day.

Clare Park Cardiology offers a comprehensive service, enabling patient care from the initial diagnosis and investigations, through to agreeing a treatment plan.

Conditions investigated include coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease, Arrhythmias and hypertension.  Heart tests available include blood pressure monitors, electrocardiogram (ECG), exercise ECG, 24/48 hour ECG Monitoring or event recorder and echocardiogram.
