How to refer your patient

Insured patients

  • Your patient will need a referral letter from you and this should be faxed to our bookings team on 01252 851 426 – Medical secretaries will usually do this for you. They can also use our GP Connect electronic referral system if they prefer.
  • The patient must ring their insurer and gain authorisation.
  • The patient can then ring our bookings team on 01252 895 489 to make an appointment they must have their policy details when they ring. Alternatively, when our bookings team receive the faxed referral letter they will send an appointment to the patient.

Self-pay patients

  • For information about prices and booking appointments your patient can ring our Patient Information Advisor team on 01252 895 490.

You can either name the consultant you would like your patient to see or you can just state the speciality i.e. ENT, Urology, Dermatology etc. We will then allocate the first available appointment.

Patients can usually be seen within 7 days and any treatment can usually take place in 2-3 weeks.
