At Spire Clare Park Hospital’s Spinal Sports Medicine Clinic we offer rapid access for the diagnosis and treatment of spinal sports injury problems for active sports people.
Consultant Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon, Mr Mike McErlain, himself a keen sportsman, leads the clinic alongside one of our experienced physiotherapists, Ms Nicki Yelland.
After referral to the clinic you will have a joint consultation and assessment with the consultant and physiotherapist. At this assessment you will be provided with rapid access to diagnostic imaging and testing if required.
Mike and Nicki will then be able to discuss treatment plans with you, whether it is one of the range of services offered by our physiotherapy team, injections with physiotherapy support or surgical intervention. Whatever your treatment needs, our aim is to get you back to fitness and playing your chosen sport as quickly as we can.
