Miss Avis Ashbrooke and Miss Valerie Nunez, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons, offer a one-stop service for various uncomplicated hand conditions, such as carpal tunnel, trigger finger and removal of unsightly and painful skin lesions, including mole removal.
Hands On patients can receive their consultation and their treatment in the same session, usually without the need for any further follow up appointments – a streamlined approach to help meet the demands of our patients’ busy lives. All procedures are carried out in our out-patient operating theatre under local anaesthetic. There is no need to fast or undress and patients can normally get straight back to work or other commitments.
It is not necessary to have a GP referral unless specifically required by your insurance company. Patients will be assessed on the phone initially by the Practice Manager to assess suitability for the service.
