Mr Mike McErlain undertook his training in Aberdeen. Early in his surgical training, Mr McErlain decided that he would want to specialise in spinal surgery. After completing the P-Company and Jumps Course, Mr McErlain joined the Paras, and it was at this time that he developed an interest in Sports Medicine.
