I qualified in 1974 from Moscow University and started surgical training in Leeds General Infirmary, University of Leeds. I remained there until I became a Fellow of RCS England. I began my laparoscopic work in 1990. I am now interested in Abdominal wall repair, Groin hernia (Lap.TEPP), Laparoscopic Incisional Hernia repair. I have taught these techniques and was examiner for final FRCS Glasgow
