Professional profile:

I qualified from Leicester University medical school in 1993, commencing my orthopaedic training in 1998. I trained in Wessex, South West Thames region and Oxford attaining fellowship of the Royal College of surgeons of England in 2006. 

I have a special interest in all areas of foot and ankle surgery, soft tissue knee surgery and post trauma reconstruction. My interest were fostered following my fellowships within Oxford and New York

 I have been in the Armed Forces since 1990 and have deployed to Bosnia, Northern Ireland, Iraq, and most recently, Afghanistan. 

Personal profile:

I am a keen windsurfer and triathelete and compete in both disiplines. I am married to Hannah and I have a son.
