Mr Kerawala is the only Consultant Surgeon at Clare Park to specialise exclusively in facial plastic surgery. He graduated with an honours degree in medicine from the University of London (St George's Hospital). Since his expertise lies in facial surgery he also chose to study dentistry and was awarded a second honours degree in this subject (The Royal London Hospital). In all he gained 14 undergraduate prizes and subsequently obtained Fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons in both London and Edinburgh. After experience in general surgery and neurosurgery Mr Kerawala spent five years of specialist head and neck training in the North East of England before passing the Intercollegiate Examination in Maxillofacial Surgery in September 1998. He has been on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council since August 1999. In 2000 he was appointed as a Consultant at the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford and North Hampshire Hospital in Basingstoke. During his time there Mr Kerawala gained an national reputation for cancer care such that in 2008 he was invited to join the head and neck cancer team at the world-famous Royal Marsden Hospital. He lectures widely in this country and in the last few years has been invited to talk in America, Europe, Asia and Australia. In 2005 Mr Kerawala was honoured with an award from his national association for his contribution to surgery both home and abroad.

Mr Kerawala lives just outside Farnham with his wife and 15-year-old son. In his spare time he can be seen from Clare Park Hospital struggling with the vagaries of golf at the Oak Park Course.
