Gill qualified in 1983 and for the following three years she worked in Manchester and at Queen Mary's, Roehampton. She gained general junior experience with both inpatients and outpatients, and received good grounding on the 'Maitland approach'.
Gill started to focus on outpatient musculo-skeletal work and regularly attended course. She completed part A and B of McKenzie (cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine). She also took an interest in lower limb problems, working with a podiatrist looking at gait and foot problems. Gill later developed an interest in the treatment of facial palsy.
Since July 2004, Gill has worked full time as an outpatient physiotherapist at Spire Clare Park Hospital, treating most areas with a special interest in foot and ankle but also treating backs, necks, post orthopaedic surgery and facial palsy.
Gill is a qualified Pilates instructor and regularly runs classes at both Clare Park and Oak Park.
