Rachael gained her MSc in Rehabilitation Science leading to qualification as a physiotherapist at the University of Brighton in 2005, following an undergraduate degree in Psychology. She began her physiotherapy career in the NHS, working in both district general hospitals and a major London trauma centre before specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy in the private sector. Rachael has recently joined the team at Spire Clare Park working in the outpatient department with an additional role with the inpatient orthopaedic team.
Rachael treats a wide range of acute and chronic conditions within the outpatient department, using a combination of manual techniques and exercise therapy with the addition of acupuncture when appropriate. She particularly enjoys post-operative and post-trauma rehabilitation and return to sport. Rachael continues to develop her physiotherapy knowledge and skills by attending courses run by both orthopaedic consultants and the MACP.
