Mr Sturridge was born in London, educated at Ampleforth College and studied medicine at University College London. He was a research fellow at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore and went on to higher surgical training through Guy's, St Thomas's and King's Hospitals. He was fellowship trained in hip and knee revision surgery in Melbourne, Australia, and then at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. Mr Sturridge was appointed at the Guy's Hip Fellow in 2012 where he developed his interest in young adult hip surgery and minimally invasive surgery techniques.
Mr Sturridge has published and lectured on hip and knee surgery internationally, and continues to review papers for the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery. He sits on the South East Thames Specialist Training Committee. He continues to teach and examine the higher surgical trainees in the region. Mr Sturridge is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association and the British Hip Society.
Mr Sturridge sees patients presenting with all hip and knee conditions but has specialist interest in sports-related hip injuries, young adult hip surgery, hip arthroscopy, and hip and knee replacement.
