Cholesterol level test

Spire Cheshire Hospital in Warrington, Cheshire, offers a wide range of private blood tests and investigations. Speak to your GP if you would like a private test and ask for a referral to Spire Cheshire Hospital. Alternatively please contact us on 01925 215029 for more information

The level of cholesterol in the blood is an indication of the risk of developing heart disease or having a stroke. Cholesterol tests can be used to monitor high risk patients and help them to reduce their risk of these diseases through diet, exercise and drug treatment.

A test to identify the level of cholesterol in the blood can be conducted by taking a small sample of blood for analysis in our laboratories.
