Prostate and bladder cancer, sexual dysfunction, prostate biopsy, vasectomy reversal
Consultant Urological Surgeon at Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
British Association of Urological Surgeons
A wide based general surgical and higher urological training in this country and the USA enables me to manage the majority of urological conditions. My special interests are in cancerwork, (currently trust lead for urological cancer) and andrology, in which field I did research, resulting in a Master of Surgery Degree. My practice at Spire Cheshire Hospital is covered with the resource to specialised investigations such as urodynamics and prostate ultrasound guided biopsy in the detection of prostate cancer. Reversal of vasectomy procedures are regularly performed utilising magnification.
I am married with three children, living on the Wirral. I was appointed as a Consultant Urological Surgeon to Warrington and Halton Hospitals in 1993 and was Clinical Director of Surgery for seven years. I enjoy sport, holding a black belt in judo, and play League Hockey for Neston Club. Mountaineering is an important part of my life, climbing Mont Blanc, 6,000m peaks in the Himalayas, Kilimanjaro (twice!), and visited the Swiss Alps in 2012, Everest North Col in 2011 and Bolivia in 2014.
