During November, staff from Spire Cheshire Hospital joined thousands of men around the UK by growing moustaches to show their support for ‘Movember’.
Movember, derived from combining moustache and November, is held in November every year to raise awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
Paul Shaw, Paul Atkinson, Wayne Taylor and Mike Hardman have all taken part in this one month long event and have been supported by their friends, family and work colleagues who have all donated to this worth while cause.
Paul Shaw said ‘We decided to support Movember as it’s a great opportunity to help raise awareness for men's health issues and donate money to charities that support the fight against mens cancer. We would like to thank everyone who has donated and supported us, together we have raised in excess of £500 and we are still counting as the donations continue to come through!’’
