On Wednesday 11th July, 30 Cyclists stopped off at Spire Cheshire as they completed their annual charity bike ride from John O Groats to Lands End.
The route covers the east coast of Scotland, and the West of England passing through towns such as Sterling, Warrington, Worcester and Bristol
The riders are all from Leeds Medical School and the group was set up five years ago to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital and Light in Africa orphanage.
The charities are close to their hearts as one of the riders had a sister who was undergoing care at Great Ormond Street. Five years on, her family have launched a national campaign backed by Bill Bryson called Love Hearts for new cardio equipment and we have become one of their primary fundraisers.
The group have been training and fundraising together since October and they are hoping to beat last years total of £26,000.
