Background Information
Professional profile:
I am a consultant ear, nose and throat surgeon at The Countess of Chester Hospital. I deal with all aspects of routine ear, nose and throat problems. My specialist interests include coblation surgery, paediatric ENT, microsurgery of the ear and the management of nasal conditions and their surgical treatment with FESS (functional endoscopic sinus surgery).

I completed my general ENT training in Liverpool and Manchester with specialist paediatric ENT training at The Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. After developing specialist interests I visited various ENT units in Europe, including the J Causse Ear Clinic in Beziers, France for hearing reconstructive surgery, the University Hospital in Gothenburg for bone anchored hearing aids and Francoise Firmin in Paris for cosmetic ear surgery.

I have published research papers in relation to outcomes from nasal surgery, coblation tonsillectomy in adults and children and various topics in relation to ear surgery.
Personal profile:
I am married with two children. Away from my professional commitments I enjoy competitive sailing and cycling when time allows.
