    Mr Roy works as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon in Trafford Hospital, Manchester. He completed his orthopaedic training from the Yorkshire region. He had specialist experience in the techniques of shoulder and elbow surgery during a 12 month fellowship at the Nottingham Shoulder Unit in 2004.
    During his higher surgical training, he completed a masters in bioengineering with Leeds University. He also holds a diploma in medical informatics.
    Mr Roy manages traumatic as well as elective orthopaedic problems with a special emphasis on shoulder and elbow problems. 80 percent of his elective work is arthroscopic surgery both in shoulders and elbows.
