I have been a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon since 2009. I started my initial training in India and then travelled to the UK for further training. I specialise in inflammatory eye diseases, macular diseases, uveitis and age related macular disease, cataract surgery and diabetic eye disease.

My specialist interest is macular diseases; I offer a range of treatments including intravitreal injections and laser. Another interest of mine is uveitis, I specialise in the diagnosis and management of inflammatory eye diseases.

I am currently based at Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where I perform routine and complex cataract operations, averaging on 450 a year.

I achieved my registrar training at Sunderland Eye Infirmary, Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle and The Royal Liverpool University Hospital. Following on from this I completed a fellowship in medical retina and uveitis at Bristol Eye Hospital.

I am also a surgical trainer for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists as well as a member of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
