Dr Ruzsics is a Consultant Cardiologist with a special interest in cardiac imaging. He holds a PhD degree in Cardiovascular imaging focusing on cardiac MRI (earned at University of Alabama at Birmingham, USA).

He completed Cardiovascular Imaging fellowship in cardiac CT and cardiac MRI at the Medical University of South Carolina, USA and completed his cardiology board certification in Pecs University, Hungary, Europe. 

As an imaging expert, Dr. Ruzsics is also active in cardiac imaging research and author on several international, peer viewed publications. He has been invited as faculty member and lecturer to International cardiac imaging conferences (Meeting of Asian Society of Cardiac Imaging, Japan; European Society of Cardiology, Barcelona, Spain; Sao Paolo, Brazil etc.)

He has been presented with a number of major scientific awards, North American Society of Cardiac Imaging, Society of Computed Tomography and Body MR and Radiological Society of North America.

He is an active member in research committee of North American Society of Cardiac Imaging and also serves as carrier representative in American Heart Association Leadership Committee. He has published a book of experimental cardiac imaging.

He is one of the course directors of Comprehensive Cardiac CT course and also co-published a 3 volume CT case DVD library which is CME (Continuous Medical Education) accredited as a Cardiac CT educational programme.

In 2010 Dr Ruzsics became a Consultant Cardiologist at the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospital.
