Dr Dunn is a fellowship trained consultant musculoskeletal radiologist. His current NHS post is held at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital. He completed his fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging at the University of Toronto in 2006. His specialist interests are sports injury, musculoskeletal ultrasound, bone and soft tissue tumours and shoulder imaging. He has published papers on many musculoskeletal imaging subjects and regularly lectures at local and national meetings aswell as being an honorary clinical lecturer at the University of Liverpool.

Dr Dunn lives in Cheshire with his wife who is a GP. He played rugby at club level until sustaining a back injury some years ago. He now keeps fit when time allows by mountainbiking and gym work.
