July 2010
On 15 July Spire Cheshire Hospital was pleased to welcome students from Winona State University Minnesota, majoring in Nursing or Cardiac Rehabilitation to the hospital. The students are visiting the UK as part of a collaborative partnership of student and faculty exchange between themselves and University of Salford in Greater Manchester.
The purpose of their study visit is to gain understanding of how healthcare systems in this country compare and contrast with the system of healthcare offered in the United States.
A varied educational programme was put together by Spire Cheshire Hospital which gave the students chance to learn about private healthcare and also about Spire Cheshire Hospital. The students were then given a guided tour of the various departments within the hospital so they could see for themselves the services and treatments we offer our patients.
