Spire Cheshire Hospital's achievements and outstanding results for 2009 were celebrated with a stylish and fun ''Hollywood'' themed party which was held at the Park Royal Hotel on Saturday 23 January 2010.
Laurel and Hardy and Cruella de Vil graced the red carpet along with other staff and consultants from the hospital to celebrate its year of record growth.
In 2009 the hospital treated more patients than ever before and also achieved outstanding patient and consultant satisfaction results. Andy Eadsforth, Hospital Director said ‘This has been a fantastic year for Spire Cheshire Hospital and we can all be proud of our achievements and record results for 2009. Our most recent patient satisfaction results show that an overwhelming number of patients believe the service and care delivered by the Spire Cheshire Team is of a very high standard. We have invested more than ever this year in equipment, refurbishment and patient services such as housekeeping and clinical training to ensure that patients continue to want and choose to be treated here.'
The investment was also recognised by the Care Quality Commission who in a recent on-site inspection were complimentary about the standard of care offered at the hospital.
